Port Forwarding with a Linksys AM200 + DLink DGL4300

OK,

So, I understand a fair amount about networking, and forwarding ports on the DGL4300 is easy through the HTML interface. I just select the ports I want for Warcraft 3 (6112-6119) and the IP of my PC 192.168.0.2

The DGL4300 is just a router, so to connect to my ISP I use the Linksys AM200 modem. I believe that the reason port forwarding the router doesn't fix my problem is because I need to port forward on the modem too.

What I don't understand is within the Modem I have the option to forward ports but the IP address has to be 192.168.1.XXX (The modem IP is 192.168.1.1, but my PC IP isn't on that network as my router IP is 192.168.0.1).

I hope the post isn't too muddled, but it is a little difficult to explain. Just say if I missed any important information out or I need to clarify anything.

I hope you can help,
Thanks,
Sam

If the above information is correct, what you're missing is that on the Linksys, you'll need to forward the ports to the WAN IP of the DLink router. If the WAN port is set to DHCP, then it's probably something along the lines of 192.168.1.100.
