I see that happening (Avast icon spins) but on exit only FF uses 100% cpu, no Avast action detected. In my case it's about 3-4 seconds, regardless of number of downloads, number of open tabs, or anything else I can determine.

When the heck did they add that? Scanning after download is the main reason I use Download Statusbar. Do you know if there's an entry for specifying the location of your scanner? Or is it 'smart'?
