DataDoc : Isn't browser.download.manager.scanWhenDone only for a scan after download? I see that happening (Avast icon spins) but on exit only FF uses 100% cpu, no Avast action detected. In my case it's about 3-4 seconds, regardless of number of downloads, number of open tabs, or anything else I can determine.

It just seems FF is doing it's own work.

thedragonmas : when i exit out of firefox it dose not close, it uses anywhere from 50% to 100% of the cpu, ive read in some places this has to do with the profile but ive even replaced it with a new blank one, i get the same behavior this lasts any where from 30 secconds to infinity and bogs down the system to a point i end up killing the process. any idea's whats causing it?
