Hello My gwi in Waterville is down and has been as of fri. morning. Is anyone having trouble with theres?

Waterville, ME | It comes and go's starting about 2 hours or so before it was just dead, I changed the dns's and that appears to help a lot.

Well It is Monday now still a non working Internet, I have not received any form of acknowledgment from gwi from my email or my problem with NO INTERNET, or if the one or two times It attempted to work it timed out.
I understand they are busy with the storm and may take a while to repair the problem.
I am not happy that no one has answered my email or tried to look at my Lack of service. I will update if my service returns.

1 edit | I did receive a email from then at about 10 today, they said call them, such great help wow I am so lucky,if I like I can spend a day on hold to no avail.
I have a hearing impairment that pretty much the phone useless to me, I explained this each time to them but they still say call us, very hard to get something fixed when they pass it off with a call us knowing I can not.
you gotta love their sense of humor, I know I do.

Added this edit they have emailed back and he said do all dumb stuff check if plug in,reboot etc. but at least now they are looking at it I am hopping all will go well now.

It is Tuesday now and gwi said they were sending a Fairport person to check the outside wiring, as of now my rate has been reduced to 2 megs. but at this point it is a good deal better then o speed, well report back what fairpoint claims.

They came and worked on the wiring on Tuesday and all appears well, between Monday and today they set it slower so I still got service, as of now it is great.
I would like to thank all the people at GWI for there effort in getting it fixed and back in a very timely manor.
