is FF set as a default browser? If Firefox is already on when you turn on the printer no slowdowns? Any similar issues with IE?

| Yes Firefox is my default browser. The problem does not occur with Opera or Safari but I never use IE at all. I don't see any slowdowns if Firefox is already on when I turn on the printer. I am wondering if the printer software that loads at startup might be causing the problem? This is a Brother Model MFC-240C and it loads some scanner software when I boot the computer each morning. |
