chad0404 : Yes Firefox is my default browser. The problem does not occur with Opera or Safari but I never use IE at all. I don't see any slowdowns if Firefox is already on when I turn on the printer. I am wondering if the printer software that loads at startup might be causing the problem? This is a Brother Model MFC-240C and it loads some scanner software when I boot the computer each morning.

Firefox Will Not Load Right

chad0404 : I just bought a Brother All-In-One printer and for some reason it seems to cause problems with Firefox. If the printer is turned on when I try to load Firefox I see the hourglass for about a minute and then it finally loads very slowly. If the printer is turned off, things seem to load normally. Is there any reason why the printer would interfere with loading a browser? I appreciate any comments you might have about this situation.
