Connection issues not storm related.

I have been having connection problems for awhile now. When gaming online, it is only a matter of time until my connection to the server dies. My modem's log reveals that DNS is timing out.

Anyone on GWI have similar problems?

This stopped a lot of trb. for me, as of fri I can not carry a conn. for more then a few minutes, emailed tech support but no response from them as yet to me email.

I changed it in my router. Modem is bridged. I would love for this to fix my issues, especially for online gaming.

Thanks for the input. I also sent support an email.

The second modem was not so stable so I switched back to the Lucent. Upload speed was over 100kbs better on the Westell, but my internet was disconnecting every half hour or so.

I may have set the Westell up incorrectly. I Bridged it and turned DHCP off. Once I did this I was unable to access the interface through my router.

I had a westell from verizon and replaced it in less then a week with a dlink, I now use the dlink on my gwi it is wireless and was only about 49 bucks on negg.
Good luck
