Consumer cost for fiber

What is the average FTTH customer paying and how
much "speed" does the customer get for his/her dollar?

I now pay $62 for 4megs down and 2megs up!
We can bump that to 10megs down and 2megs up
for $72/74. Is this good, average or bad?

I'm currently paying $82 a month for 20/20 and tv service thru surewest. They also offer 10/10 and 50/50. too bad the tv and phone services suck, internet rocks tho!

Not too shabby... Your provider does not have 10/10 only 20/5 as the next lower tier...
I have 20/20 as well but it cost 22 dollars more then you
10/10 is 54.00 so in a few month I may drop down to that cause money don't grow on tree and it harder to saturate 20mbps then 10mbps... 50/50 will cost me 192.00

I would love to have 50/50 but it way over my budget
I wish they all come down in price say 50mbps for 59.95
20mbps for 49.95, 10mbps for 39.95, 5mbps for 29.95

Later move up to 100mbps, 50mpbs and 25mbps
50,40,and 30 dollars I hope it get cheaper but that would be many years away from now.

and for about $10/month we can get 10/2 ($72/month approx)

We pay $35/month for 10/5 here. There are higher tiers going I believe all the way to 100/20, but the pricing for those can only be found out by calling in and asking...10/5 is sufficient for now.

My speed varies and I have no idea what the actual advertised speed is.

I get anywhere from 10-30 down and 4-15 up depending on the time. I pay 98.63 but this includes my television and home phone. Internet itself is 33.99.
