| Re: WaveBroadband Torrent Throttling??!!! Like drew, I haven't noticed any throttling using paid-for Usenet over the years. I'm an extreme user too and don't want to say how much I download. Well okay, okay...about 175gigs/months is average and some months north of 250gigs. I've had single days where I've grabbed 40gigs. Hard drive space is the limiting factor, even using 1TB Seagates.  Never had too much of an issue and if I ever I did, I would cancel service.
I don't torrent a whole bunch anymore, but pay little attention when I do and usually leave uploads running for days upon days (self throttled to say 30KB/s) to give back to others and maintain a healthy ratio. I'll try and pay attention next time I grab a big file from some speedy Swedish seeders.
Where's the freaking speed increases Wave??? Hasn't it been like 2 FRIGGIN' YEARS since we had a bump? Turn up the dial and give us some love. 20/5 plan...make it so. |
