|  Magicjack Unable to have a local telephone number assigned
I purchased my magicjack device at radio shack and tried setting it up, but the only phone numbers I was offered were not in my local area...in fact they weren't even in my county...the system allows one change for free after that a $10.00 charge is applied the new phone numbers also were not in my local area...what good is a system if all my local customers or friends have to pay a long distance fee to call me. Also they didn't list a customer service number that I could call to see if they could rectify the situation |

They are alleged to offer portability later in the year. I am using it as a back up for now.
