1 edit | Sorry to hear that, but she is not the first nor the last. May she be reunited someday, but not much she can do other than taking matters beyond court.
My niece married a Syrian, great guy, I don't see it happening with him.
British law means nothing there, unless they join the EU someday. |

If that's not your point, then I don't follow it at all. The only place where foreignness comes into it was that the former husband had somewhere outside of British jurisdiction to flee to with the child, and somewhere to get deported to (which latter point I would guess makes him 'not a British citizen'). |
