AT&T is struggling with more then one HD stream at the same time to the house, let alone watching one on 1 TV, watching 1 on another AND recording a 3d... which happens in my house all the time.

AT&T can't give you any more upload past 1 Mbps. Even my cable is 2 Mbps upload now, and FIOS is offering 20/20 connections, and the 20/5 connections are pretty affordable.
Hmm - I'm pretty sure that AT&T has been offering 2SD+2HD.
Also, AT&T has 10/1.5 and 18/1.5 connections (TWC has 10/1 here).

My TWC can do two HD streams in the living room (DVR) and one in my computer room without a problem. And provide 15/2 internet at the same time.

You can do 4HD in certain areas with AT&T, but not in combination with 18/1. Want 3 of 4 HD streams, you are stuck with 6 Mbps internet for now. I can add 5 more HDTV's and still have my 15/2 internet.

I'm not saying u-verse doesn't have it's place, but the technology used has already reached it's ceiling before it's even implemented on a widespread scale.
