| Copper backfired!!
What a crock of BS. Their copper has been around for a while and made them plenty of money. They are still using it while extending the fiber to the Vrads which are about 3000 ft. from the customers. The existing copper is being used to help defer the cost of laying the fiber to the nodes. Then in the future they can go from the Vrads to the homes with more fiber. It is easier to go to the Vrads and serve several customers now than to go to every home and serve one customer.

| The proof of the pudding is the eating. I wanted uverse tv since the info att sent me looked great. ATT tech shows up and finds the signal is only strong enough to handle one tv at a time. I have 3. First tech calls a second tech to verify everything. OOPS! It seems I am too far away for a good signal. This after a ATT installer was in my backyard two different days last summer upgrading the line for the upcoming uverse.  |
