Re: it's snowing!! in palmdale 2,500 feet

Alert says 6 to 12 inches possible on the 14 Frwy. I live in Palmdale and work in Santa Clarita. Doesn't look good to venture out--I've been stuck with no way to get back to Palmdale in the past. Anyone from AV heading to LA? See: »weather.yahoo.com/storm/USCA0002.html

Keeps melting off
It's snowing here too. Mine isn't nearly as pretty as yours, and it keeps melting off but it sure is pretty as it's falling. I took some video too.

Yup, a friend just drove up one of the backroads to find a number of abandoned vehicles including 4x4s, he wisely turned around.

Dam, if 4 x 4 can't get through with chains than it really has to be bad.

Holy crap!

I just saw that on Weather.com

That is pretty uncommon, isn't it?

From what I hear, the last time it snowed in Bakersfield was in 1999. I didn't live here then (I miss Costa Mesa, but not the traffic) I wish it would snow here!!
