Any game developed 5-6 years "should" be pretty ready at launch. 8 years means this game should be bloody perfect and its nowhere close. I predict a horrible launch, and within 3 months an abysmal failure. | |

2 edits | I would have to say that Company of Heroes : Tales of Valor, Deus Ex 3 (Hell yes) and Still Life 2 I am most looking forward to.. among others.
Hoping they don't screw up Deus Ex though.. well I suppose after number 2 they can't do much worse.
Edit: Oh and also Alpha Protocol (RPG), but don't know an awful lot about it atm. It was made by the creators of Knights of the Old Republic 2 and Neverwinter Nights 2. Should be interesting.

So much for the theory that episodic content would be released faster as oppose to realising an entire new game.
I'm happy that they're taking their time and making the final and closing episode in the Half-Life series something special (at least I heard it was the final). One can hope they are anyway. It needs to be long (which has been a complaint about others episodes) and needs to tie up all those loose ends nice and tidy. Fingers crossed.
