I don't think you will find legitimate games like the ones listed here (or older games) available free to download. But I'm not so sure, so keep searching :)

If you join Steam, you can buy a lot of old games and such for $5 to $10. Some of them are true classics.

I think PURE got some criticism for interminably long loading times. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE racing games (arcade and sim) and will gladly check into FUEL when the time comes. I haven't personally tried PURE, but would like to at some point.

Seeing as how that's the number 1 complaint about the game, my hope is they've addressed it to at least some degree.

I always try and play through a game at least once without cheating and then go through it again on the hardest setting and use the cheat codes. It can be alot of fun. Well, depending on the game of course. Some games are ruined by cheating, others can be very entertaining using cheats.

Ive played MMO's for 10 years, and Darkfall has actually been in development for 8 years, longer then most MMO's. Again, 8 years of development its already launching outdated and the current condition its in is scary for that much dev time. Any game developed 5-6 years "should" be pretty ready at launch. 8 years means this game should be bloody perfect and its nowhere close. you got the big name blizzard games which will sell millions regardless of the quality. there's natural Selection, which may be extraordinary but not my type of game. everything else...i dont see one non-multi platform title that looks good enough to buy. Dawn of War 2 will probably be good though. like all the FPS games these days are mutli-platform and suffer from being consolized.
