It must really suck to be so close to the ocean and yet so far away....and summerville....just proverbial nacl in the headwound. I was looking around for the source code on the linksys website and found a link to the cisco small business website where i found a very similar router with the name "Cisco WRP400 Wireless-G Broadband Router with 2 Phone Ports" Perhaps this router has the same hardware as the consumer version and with little or no change the firmware from this device could be used on the consumer one?(helpful?) This router uses an external usb port to connect to the mobile network instead of the sim card slot so perhaps this could be useful? (cut off the sim card and add on?). I am glad to see this single thread and the hard work you two put into this.<br><br>I am away from home for a couple more weeks, but hope to eventually grab my WRTU54G-TM out of the attic and add the USB port.<br><br>Of course, after the SIM card readers are gone, and USB is there, you have a great router (Tho it'd be much easier to buy one with USB already, but the point is making do with what you have!). But of course the ultimate goal, for many, is SIP.<br><br>I'm not searched datasheets and whatnot yet, but from the looks of that Test Demo someone pasted, and someone else mentioning a similar router that uses SIP on same chip, outlook is good.<br><br>So other routers do SIP and USB, the goal is getting this router to do it because --- They're practically giving them away anymore. T-Mobile is closing the doors on @Home service. The good hacks usually come around once a hardware has pasted it's useful commercial life, so ... It's late, I'm very glad I found this thread, and tomorrow at work I'll have lots of reading to keep me busy -- staring at a blank screen or playing FishVille doesn't entertain me for long. lol.]]></description>
