| handset upgrade fee...
Is basically a B.S. fee (administrative?) Its almost as if you're being penalized to renew a contract.
There's no real reason for it - as you're already paying for the device and the service.
Eg. I can get (from AT&T) a Moto RAZR V3xx for an over priced amount of $129 (or less + pay for extra services). I can also go to CompUSA and pay a similar amount.. and not have to pay for $18 upgrade fee or be in a contract. |

| Yup... its a bs fee indeed. I wish Sprint would drop theirs... frickin $34 "new device" activation fee for a phone thats already been previously activated.
Maybe this will be the beginning of similar removals of BS fees from other carriers.... I can hope. -- Teamwork is a lot of people doing what I say. |

I think they'll just bury it in the cost of the handset. |
