1 edit | reply to Cruisezone And next month, comcasts home town of Philadelphia will get maybe 3 whole new channels bringing us to 37. -- He who lives the longest will know the most. |
|
 | reply to Cruisezone That's quite the haul! Did you get any more HBO or Showtime HD's? |
|
 | reply to Cruisezone We were supposed to have 50~60 HD channels by the end of the year in the Central PA region. I only count 36 in Reading, PA.
Comcast never ceases to amaze me. Even the Philly guys (Comcast hometown no less) has less than I do. |

 | reply to Cruisezone I got the flyer today, but no new channels here in South Hill Puyallup/Graham. Guess I'll reboot the box later if they don't show up soon. |
|
 | reply to Cruisezone Wow. Why hasn't Comcast ever heard of consistancy? I mean that's great you guys got these channels. It's great Boston's got their channels and Chicago's got theirs. I'm here in State College, PA wondering when are we going to get on par with the rest of Comcast. I realize we were Adelphia here a few years ago, but come on now, hook us up to that fiber backbone that carries all of those channels.
Engineers need to start paying attention to Comcast's home state. I mean, State College is home of Penn State University. Pennsylvania has some big cities (Philly and Pittsburg). Why is PA ignored Comcast? Can someone answer that? |

 | reply to Cruisezone Does the Seattle / Tacoma area for Comcast include Olympia? |
|
 | reply to Cruisezone thank fios for comcast trying to stay competitive |

Does the Seattle / Tacoma area for Comcast include Olympia? I'm in the Tacoma area and not receiving the New HD channels. I guess it just the Seattle market. -- Caddy |

 | I live in the Lynnwood/Edmonds area and I don't have any of these stations, with either a HD box or TiVo HD via CC. |

 | reply to Cruisezone Confirmed these new 29 channels in Mercer Island, WA.
Unfortunately these channels are not yet in my guide data. I'm not using a Comcast receiver, but a Windows Media Center PC that gets its guide data from zap2it.com. |

Complete misinformation I subscribe to Comcast in Seattle and the info in that post is not correct. I picked five or six test channels from the post and none of them were accurate- some were other he channels (like 699, which is HD on demand, not G4-HD), others were not accessable from the cable box, and none of them showed up in the HD program guide.
Maybe those changes are in the works, but they are not active for all of Comcast in Seattle and there are no messages from Comcast indicating this in the inbox or in the bill. |

Re: Comcast Seattle Adds 29 New HD Channels Can someone tell me how to get these channels to show up? I live in downtown Seattle and tried every channel listed. Not a single one is accessible on my box. |
|
 | reply to Cruisezone I'm in University Place (Tacoma) and I have all these in my program guide as of last night. A couple still say "Please Wait..." But at this time it is only a couple. |

Re: Complete misinformation I've had these channels in my line up for the last three days or so. I can access all but 2 or 3. I live in Kirkland and use a TivoHD with an M Card. So it's not mis-information at all. |
