I'm glad we have Directv for our tv service. We have Comcast's HSI service, and that rocks, but their tv lineup here really leaves a lot to be desired. |

Any news on this? I still haven't gotten any of those channels here. And the compression on HD channels has gotten worse than ever. I just wish FIOS would finally come to my town so I can switch and get some real HD, not this overcompressed crap. |

Well, I see that Comcast has added just 1 more HD channel--629 MLB Network...which wasn't even announced...but, I'm STILL waiting for the 29 HD channels that some isolated areas seem to have already!! |

FXHD was added with MLB HD in regard to a prior post Comcast made as adding only those 2 channels by April 15th. If your city/community was not listed on the above post, your guess is as good as mine when the other HD additions will be added. Could be summer or fall as I am in the same boat as you. |

Anybody in the Maple Valley/Covington area have the new HD channels yet? I have only got FXHD and MLB and FXHD will go into Channel will be available shortly mode every few hours? So far, i have received two notices from comcast. one saying the conversion was starting in March and the second saying those upgrades would be finished April 17th. What gives? |

Live in Renton/Kennydale area near Coulon park, have a Tivo HD no new channels yet. Anyone know when they will be turned on?
I also heard that Comcast is moving to SDV-switched Digital Video and has begun roll out in in Boston. Without a SDV box your Tivo is useless. I've seen pictures of the box they are using and its as long and wide as a tivo box. Time Warner is using a much smaller box. Anyway te good news for us is we should not expect it until late next year. |
