Comcast Upload Speeds

I have Comcast HSI and I run speed tests through speakeasy.net. I've noticed that my upload speeds are absurdly high and far higher than what I'm supposed to be getting. During the day I typically am getting between 4-8Mbs down (sometimes as high as 16Mbps down) and consistently 7-8Mbps up.

Am I really getting these types of upload speeds or is a bug with speakeasy?

And your complaining?
Just kidding. Welcome to the world of "powerboost". Just don't call it magic .

I guess I should complain since I never get over 2Mbs up and usually it's more like 1.8 Never did get upload PB.

If you are running a router with "StreamEngine" QOS, make sure that automatic uplink speed is checked on the StreamEngine configuration page then apply and reboot the device.

This part may not be an effect of the upload Powerboost feature.

It may be a product of the current network stress testing that is going on in preparation for the D3.0 upgrades.

Try uploading some real world large files, say via FTP, and see if those speeds are sustained.

Still getting the speed

I don't have an FTP client to do a real world test, but I guess if I'm continually getting these results I shouldn't complain as was mentioned earlier.
