I just called too and they credited back the upgrade fee they charged me the other day. WTG T-Mobile.
Times are tough for many of us and suddenly our priorities are shifting. T-Mobile works well for me and provides a great value for my personal needs out here in LA.
Hopefully other US carriers will do the noble thing and follow suit. They didn't mind copying eachother when raising SMS to .20 a pop.
