Re: [Availability] New UVERSE Box in Hoover/Birmingham, AL? said by Oedipus:I'm seeing 1206 x 662 on my last one. That's too big? This site seems to be designed with 800x600 screen resolution in mind. When you post an attachment, it is automatically downsized to no more than 600 pixels wide, and I use that width as a rule when I hotlink an image.
If you were to upload that 1206x662 image, the site would create a 600 pixel wide thumbnail, and make it a clickable image that would then display in full size for those who wish to see the full size image.
Here is an example of an uploaded 2816x2120 image. It will display in the post with a maximum width of 600 pixels, but all you need to do is click the image to see the full size.

He told her he was testing Uverse in the area. I had not noticed until today that a block up the street the ATT boxes had been greatly expanded. My wife says they had cut a bunch of trees up in that area.
Apparently, they are testing the area, but I sill show that I do not qualify for UVerse.
I do know that my DSL connection has been down more than the stock market in the last week. I guess when they test they mess up the lines in the area.
I just wish they would quit.
I am on hold with ATT Customer non-support right now. The drone script reader is more interested in knowing if my modem is on the floor or a desk than the actual problem.
I just hope I still have DSL once they have finished testing UVERSE. |

 | You won't get Uverse unless they test it . You will qualify when they are done. Calling support won't help. Even If you don't subscribe to Uverse your adsl will work when they are through. You may see your adsl improve. If they quit now you will be "sol" for 18 + meg service . |
