The limitations of currently available residential access technology in combination with non-fixed network operating costs in relation to bandwidth utilization make actual true unlimited access completely impossible.
No matter how you look at it. Access stops becoming access at all when you have excess restrictions. The assumption about a pipe dream is way off.
