TimfromPgh : I live near Pittsburgh and have been using Cricket wireless broadband for one week. For me the service has been great. Previously, my only option was dialup. With cricket broadband I get 500 kbps download speed during the day and 300 - 500 kbps in the evening. Thus far the service has performed flawlessly

[EvDO] Cricket Broadband

anon : I have purchased the service and been using it for a month and from my experience it like using high speed dial up. I really hate it. You cant do any online game you purchase from a store. Download speeds topped off at 43 kb/s. Watching videos online is a chore. Simple web pages seem to take unusually long time to load for a so called broadband connection. DSL is a better choice but I think I will go back to cable or try another bradband wirless carrier. Cricket needs much improvement before it could even hang with the big boys.
