Ya I use to install for comcast, Rarely was it ever the advertised speeds, always like 2-3mbps slower. I never saw 12mbps on that powerboost. However it sounds like you have a solid connection and anything above 3mbps is fastenough anyways goodluck and hope your connection stays strong for you
