Re: [Internet] Bandwidth Usage Discrepancies

Whats new, just another new scam in a long line of Bell scams, ripoffs, deceit and weasel fees like the ISW insurance plan.

about it here.

I'm surprised there isn't a class action lawsuit over this scam of an inaccurate bandwidth meter which exaggerates usage for those close to their cap in an effort to siphon money away from customers.
I am myself surprised too that this topic revealed this "scum". It is just pure ignorance and disrespect by Bell for own subscribers to continue this scum as "they" are aware of it. Bell monitor this Forum big time, Deadpool is here!

Deapool just disappoint me here on this subject as above.

I come across in Bell Forum a contact to billing supervisor so take a chance with him and report back to us his resolution:

If not joy I would go strait to:kevin.crull@bell.ca but how many been "scum`d" so far by Bell?

Amen Brothers!

I was given a 60.43 GB traffic statement for yesterday (last day of the billing cycle).

The day previous to that was 59.69 gig.

I was well aware of my bandwidth status and severely limited my online activity to include only web surfing for the last 3 days.

Does Bell seriously expect me to believe that through marginal surfing I somehow miraculously incurred an additional 800 megabytes on the final day of my bill for this month???
As mentioned, Bell's counter is behind by a few days and is by no means any where near current, so it's very possible that a portion of the 800MB was already incurred when you the counter showed 59.6GB.

Then I shouldn't be held responsible for the additional overusage fees as I was never able to accurately track my usage to begin with.

What's even more hilarious is that the bandwidth usage page has been down for over TWO DAYS!

Just plain ignorance and disrespect. I am just waiting to see how Bell will "fix" this "scam". We are talking about money that Bell charges illegally! Net Citizen is absolutely right, Bell can`t hold anyone responsible for extra bandwidth usage if Bell gives in the first place wrong, inaccurate stat. Amen!

Why be bothered with all this? Acanac offers unlimited service for about half the price (and I'm not even talking about their first year promo). Or get Teksavvy. Or Electronic Box. The way Bell treats their customers, it amazes me to read all the problems you guys are having when there are much better alternatives available.
Thanks for all the alternatives to bell I maybe using one of them real soon!
