| RI/MPAA To those of you who think this is just a scare tactic. I want you to think back to when they first started to become a nuisance. Everyone thought their ISP was neutral and non-transparent. That was shattered when it was revealed that Comcast was sharing customer data directly with them. People said "Wow, how could this happen. My {insert family/friend name here} does the bear share/napster/kazaa thing all the time, They can't possibly be cold enough to sue them". Then that was shattered when 9 and 99 year olds were being sued.
WAKE UP.
This is simply no scare tactic. The RI/MPAA has actually thrown lots of taxpayer and private dollars into this new system. They aren't going to invest that much, just to scare you. In the process they are actually scaring ISP's by trying to make them liable for the actions of their users, through transparency and agreement of cooperation with said ISP's.
