I was contemplating purchasing a Roku box, mostly due to the fact that I don't want to pay for a Gold account for xbox live to do the same type of Netflix viewing. Any opinions about the box, Good - Bad? -- The weekend is here, grab a can of beer! |

@comcast.net | From what I've seen in ROKU forums, they are getting ready to add Hulu HD, and other Internet video sources to the box. |

The SD streams are almost DVD quality if you've got a good connection (solidly 3 megabits or better). I've got it connected to my 42" LCD TV via HDMI and it's ready for the HD content as soon as the firmware updates.
Answering the other question, the "watch instantly" content is what shows up on this box. You manage it from your normal Netflix account via computer. There is evidently other content coming soon as noted above. |
