As much as I dislike ATT it is still a welcome option. From someone that lives in the area just north of birmingham, its a welcome change. In Decatur which it about 90 miles north of Bham the city council has been putting off approving att like everything that could have a good impact to our area. Here we only have charter for television, other than satellite. Internet is offered by att, charter, and maybe one or two others, but mainly charter. Because Charter and the city have a exclusive contract to only work with each other without any oversight to pricing and quality of service.

papeluv we are in Hoover and get great service from Charter there 16meg internet plan is the best thing going right now as long as they stay away from caps. We watch tons of stuff on Hulu and stream via Netflix. I don't get all the hype around Uverse I to compared the pricing to Charter and that stuff is not competitive at all. BTW I love how Georgia people love to take shots at Alabama. Dude red necks I don't even want to get started on Douglasville all I have to say is I know the real GA and it's not Atlanta

Now I would agree with u about Charter concerning their internet but Charter's cable svcs could be much better, especially their HD lineup
