It turns out that it was very easy to install and I've never taken a radio deck or knew how to remove the dash trim.

The Crutchfield mastersheets rock. A fast phone call to them told me what wire to splice into for my 12v and ground.

Just waiting on the rain to stop so I can finish running the xm receiver wire throughout my car.

I'm going to get a good test of it while I drive back to Cali later this week.

The audio shop wanted $105 to install it.
chucky5150 : Question: What is the best way to install the XM radio so I don't have to use a not-in-use station?

The reason I ask is I had something like that for my mp3 player and hated it. I'm driving from Louisiana to Cali next month and don't want to go searching for stations in every town I drive through.

I'm going to buy the Delphi XpressRC.

p.s. my car doesn't have a tape (or CD) player.
