Someone posted what it looks like when your time is up. The softphone ad displays an un-happy face, "sorry to see you go" and an option to "click here" to renew.<br><br>You can go to your my.magicjack.com account portal and purchase another year whenever you want.<br><br>I don't know how that process works now, but it used to be rather prone to errors. It would email the customer a "redemption code" that they were required to go back to the portal and redeem. It seemed like an elaborate process just to update MJ's backend system with what MJ knows you did (purchase a year). The email was often caught by spam filters.
