I see you aren't syncing at full speeds. There are several tests that you can perform that will demonstrate if the problems are due to your inside wiring.
First please run this DMT tool at your inside DSL jack and post the text results and a link to the chart or a copy of it: »SBC DSL FAQ »How can I check for the maximum attainable sync speeds with a 5100b/4100 modem? Then check and post the hybrid number your modem is using in your modem log: »192.168.0.1/log.htm This FAQ explains about the hybrid numbers: »192.168.0.1/log.htm. They mostly show problems on the inside wiring.
Then you will need to repeat the above tests at your NID: »AT&T Southeast Forum FAQ »How to check modem stats, synch rates & speeds from test jack at the NID. A comparison of the first set of stats with the second should be able to prove if your inside wiring is the problem.  |
