gulvah : I've been living here for over 22 years. I don't want to move for 1 service but it seems like the service I need the most. Like most people these days I do alot of my tasks online and with dial up it isn't easy. I don't know how much time I have wasted on dial up but I can tell you its many years I'll never get back. If I absolutely have to move then I will, but if there is ANY hope at all of DSL comming to my area please someone tell me.

Satellite doesn't meet my online needs. Sure it would be an upgrade but for the price it isn't worth it. Wireless ISP isn't available for me either or atleast not from what I know but I may be wrong. Does anyone know a WISP of any kind in my area?

Being stuck stuck on dial up for this long is inhumane. Wired internet broadband should be available for everyone. Dial up should be banned due to its extremely slow speeds and unreliable connections.
