Any other industry who had secret meetings to arrange a whole industry's marketing like RIAA/MPAA is doing would be hauled into court for price fixing and conspiracy to commit price fixing. RIAA/MPAA is not a government agency that can levy a TAX on consumers and the idea IS price fixing.
Where is the consumer protection?
