I just did a wifi scan and found that 3 of 4 networks available to me, only 1 (mine), is encrypted. Is this ratio wide spread?
I've never seen an unsecured WLAN in my neighborhood; I didn't test their encryption, though. I normally leave my wireless disabled. I wired my premises, and don't need wireless.
