[DD-WRT] WRT54G

I recently flashed a WRT54G with the latest "micro" version successfully. I then configured it as a Client Bridge and it was functioning perfectly. The connections were fast and I was pleased.

I then moved it into my sons room and it wouldnt connect. So I took it into my office again and plugged it in to check the settings.

The green power light will do nothing but blink quickly. I can not ping it.

Did it die?

If it worked before why would it suddenly be bricked??

I did try the reset button. Held for 30, unplugged, continued to hold 30, plugged in, continued to hold 30. Same..

What would cause it to brick after successful flash?

Now I am stumped.

Even after performing the 30-30-30 reset, I plugged this in again to see if I could try to de-brick the unit and it is working now. It is even still configured in the Client bridge mode and I am up and running flawlessly..

Hmmmm..

Oh well, I am not one to look a gift horse in the mouth..
