Blackberry browser failed - help

I am using BlackBerry 8703 via Verizon

one day the CrackBerry just rebooted and I find that my browser fails to work;

I get:

quote:
Your device does not currency have and Browser Configuration Service Entries.

Please contact your service provider to have the Browser on your device

[OK]

Can someone please advise on how to fix this...

Re: Blackberry browser failed - help

Resend your service books. If you're on BIS there's an option on your carrier's site, if you're on BES your admin needs to do it.

This was a major Verizon Network Issue that started last week and only affected certain users.
As jester121 advised, you need to re-send the service books to your device. If you do not know how to do this, call Verizon at 1 800 922-0204 from a landline so they can walk you through the process. It is quick and restores the browsing immediately.

Re: Blackberry browser failed - help

Verizon tech support got my BB Pearl back on-line after ten minutes on the phone.

The tech recommends dialing *228 about once a month.

Happy New Year!
