Thank you. It's not yet available via the internal updater, is it? OK, gotta be patient.

I don't think it's necessary to uninstall SAS. I'm sure it will soon be available via the inernal updater; that's how it worked when 4.23 was released.

I'm also trying to get the update via the internal updater - no luck. Let's hope we'll soon get it.

Got version 4.24 via the internal updater a couple of minutes ago. SAS is running as smoothly as ever.

Yep, »forums.superantispyware. ··· &p=12149 said so too. Did yours ask to reboot too?

I just updated my last PC through the internal updater and each one required a boot to finish the update. These were systems running XP Pro SP3, XP Pro SP2 and W2K. No such luck for me

Same experience as dp and others; upon completion of updating SAS Pro on an XP Pro SP3 machine, required to reboot to finalise installation.

I am running XP with SP2 and I had to reboot. Drat! I had just done that for another reason and when rebooting from that, was greeted by the Internet ability to update. Oh well, thank you all for the heads up for the various things. Were I not so busy yesterday, they would have been most helpful. They always are.

Updated 4 PCs with SAS Pro and all needed reboots.

I must say that I'm confused about the "hassle" of rebooting being mentioned. I'm a major league believer in rebooting. I never leave my PC on at the end of the day. Rebooting can often cure some of those odd little gremlins that sometimes rear their ugly heads...

Thanks hayc59,
Finally got around to updating SAS.
Got it thru the updater.
And yes, I had to reboot.
No big deal.
