I would think the loss of of few million viewers would hurt Viacom more than what the are asking. It's a political game, and someone needs to blink first.... This is not the first time channels have been pulled off of a cable or satellite company, and within a few weeks after that one of the two will give up just enough for the other to agree.
Neither TWC or Viacom wants to lose. They will arm wrestle for a while, then come to an agreement of some sorts.... both companies will have lost some revenue by then (advertisement for Viacom, people leaving for sat/telco for TWC) and in the end the remaining customers will foot the bill, either in rising fees or in more advertisement.
