| Re: To everyone who thought that ATT and VZ would lower cable pr From a sales flyer that AT&T mailed to me today, "Many factors can affect actual speeds. U-verse customers may experience a temporary speed reduction when the use of other U-verse services consumes otherwise available bandwidth."
LOL. Your TV is slowing down your Internet. Try not to watch so much HD!

| I've had U-Verse for 9 months and can't say I've seen my DL speeds drop when the TVs are on. I pay for 18 down and 1.5 up, their highest tier, and use the U200 telly package. My 2 always-on boxes are wired to the gateway with 3 other family PCs on wireless. I torrent heavily -- mostly telly shows. Often my torrenting slows the wireless connections, but I've never noticed a slowdown from telly usage, which is normally one standard and one HD running concurrently.
Interestingly, I upg'd to the 18 (from 10kbps?) just before Thanksgiving, but I've not seen any difference for my extra $10 per month.
