Re: Proxomitron Zhen-Xjell Default.CFG 2.50 Beta Hi The first couple of times I used (well tried to!) The Proxo beyond the basics I made a true pig's ear of it all - at one point I made such a mess that I could access anything on the net (pretty secure?) and it took me days on end to make it usable. I now now read a bit both here and at The Proxo site as well ZX's own site. Following the help available I have it working smoothly (for the time being ) and I put in 4.1 and ZX's new files without problems - Thanks!

I have seen the "Load Config" option, but when I unzip Zhen's Beta, I get confused as to which file to load. (obviously I am new to Proxo and apologize in advance for my lack of experience). Thanks -- Got Milk? |

The interior zip file is the one you should unzip as it contains all the configurations and text files to be used by Proxomitron. -- Join a Distributed Computing Team at DSLR Today! Is this YOUR file (Saturday, February 09, 2002, 3:07:12 AM)? Also, I noticed that the normal avatar animations on the DSLR site are not working (except for my own, wierd). How do i adjust this? Thanks, once again. -- Got Milk? |

Zhen-XjellProlific BunnyPremium,VIP,ExMod 2001-04 join:2000-10-08 Bordentown, NJ | The inner zip file should be extracted into the Proxomitron installation folder. All files need to be extracted in order to function properly.
DSLR by default is not added in the trusted list. You need to go into your Proxomitron install folder and located "Bypass list.txt" in your "lists" sub-folder.
Once you have it open in notepad or something, enter on its own line the following:
*.dslreports.com/
This way, Proxo will bypass its filters when getting any pages at DSLR. -- Join a Distributed Computing Team at DSLR Today! Cure AIDS, Cancer, Diabetes, Alzheimer's and more! |

Zhen-XjellProlific BunnyPremium,VIP,ExMod 2001-04 join:2000-10-08 Bordentown, NJ | Are you using Hotmail in OE? That is the only way Proxomitron would have any affect on your OE. |

catManic2 Young 2 RetirePremium join:2001-02-17 South River, NJ | reply to Zhen-Xjell Yes, Hotmail in OE, but nevermind.. I had to re-copy your files properly to the Proxmo Dir to get it to work. Its Another novice comment (if I havn't exhausted you already-BTW your program is pretty cool). I've noticed, by design, I expect, that further loading restrictions have been added to web pages. It seems that almost ALL Images in my Start-up page, MSN, for example, have been eliminated- to the extent that the content is somewhat garbled and hard to read. My question: Should I now experiment with your various setting allow what I wish to see? -- Got Milk? |

As to OE & Hotmail, just make suer that the following entry exists in your Allowcookies.txt file in the lists subfolder:
*.hotmail.*
And nothing else is shared on that same line. -- Join a Distributed Computing Team at DSLR Today! Cure AIDS, Cancer, Diabetes, Alzheimer's and more! |
