Both are speedstream 5200 modems
The all black one is a newer model 5200

I know this, you've misread what I wrote. I was indicating that I have a black 5200, not black/grey, for the purposes of identifying the revision. I understand they come in the black and black/grey flavors, I even owned one in black/grey, and that they are both 5200.
