I prefer to keep the higher quality since I rip it once and it works on my TV, iPhone, and classic iPod. Mine take about 500MB ... give or take. I use 2-pass VBR with a maximum bitrate of 1000Kbps. But I just tried Handbrake for the first time tonight to put a DVD movie on my iTouch and iPhone both.

Something went a mess with TWO different DVDs that came out completely corrupted and unusable. I used the "iTouch/iPhone" presets.

I'm disappointed with Handbrake.
A little OT but if you try the burn with an RW disc first it cuts down on the coaster production. :D
