| [POLL] 2009 Wireless Service Provider Poll Who is your primary wireless service provider? |

Welcome to "Provider Poll" v. 2009!
If you use more than one mobile device please vote for the provider you use the most often even if it's a data only device. I looked at last year's poll and only 1.1% of respondents were reporting using a Canadian service provider, so I replaced the Canadian options with US pre-paid service providers. Virgin Mobile bought out Helio in August, but they are marketed separately so this year they will be two separate listings. If I've missed your particular provider please vote other (either pre-paid or post-paid). I also encourage anyone who voted for "other" to list their service provider in the thread so we can include it in next year's poll.
As always, the above list are providers in the United States, if you have service in another country with the same brand (T-Mobile UK for example), please vote "other."
This is the poll's seventh version with a new one posted every year.
Here's last year's: »[POLL] 2008 Wireless Service Provider

2 edits | AT&T and Verizon are my carriers, I also use US Cellular for in-market roaming with Verizon here in the bad spots (Verizon has in-market roaming here and in all areas of NorCal where both Verizon and US Cellular have service). AT&T here is formely Edge Wireless (AT&T Affiliate).
We are served by four carriers, AT&T, Verizon, US Cellular and Metro PCS. T-Mobile, Sprint and Nextel are licensed to serve us as well, but have never built out, and rely on roaming agreements for service in this area.

| Sprint here. I just upgraded to the new Family Data Share Plan (1500). I must say, it seems like a really good deal so far - everything is unlimited except actual talk minutes (which we don't use that much anyway) - and includes "premium" services like Navigation and premium TV stations. | |

| I've been with Tracfone for years and have had no problems, Without a doubt they have the cheapest phones and for someone like me that doesn't make a lot of calls they are the cheapest pre-paid in the USA. My husband works off his cell and is on the road a lot so he has a Net10 phone and that works for him because they don't charge for roaming and it's only 10c per min with no hidden costs. | |

| Virgin Mobile and AT&T here. VM works inside, AT&T does not. While at home, I use VM - for obvious reasons. When I go somewhere, I use AT&T.
So, since I rarely go out, I had to choose VM. -- Think outside the Fox... Opera
