Virgin Mobile and AT&T here. VM works inside, AT&T does not. While at home, I use VM - for obvious reasons. When I go somewhere, I use AT&T.
So, since I rarely go out, I had to choose VM. -- Think outside the Fox... Opera |

Then we had nothing but dropped calls. Now my wife is happy again with Verizon Wireless and that makes me happy!!! |

| reply to Quip Since 1995 I was with Voicestream, Omnipoint, TMobile. When they changed the terms of their contracts last summer I terminated mine and left because they wouldn't offer me any good phones for free. In Sept I switched to ATT.
Now I have 2 good free phones that TMo didn't even carry and I get more bars in more places. |

| reply to Quip I voted for TracFone.
The thing I like most about Tracfone is I only have to buy minutes every 90 days to keep my service active instead of 60 days like most other prepaid providers. It averages out to around $7 a month which is good since I don't use my cell a lot anyway. |

It works where others do not. Now I am thinking about upgrading. I almost have enough Sprint phones to open a store -- Mac: No windows, No gates, Apple inside |

| reply to Quip I live in Southern California and travel a lot to Mexico. I've had Verizon for about eight or nine years. My cellular is my only telephone as it works so good that I disconnected my land line about five years ago.
Based upon my extensive personal experience and being around people who are always using cellular phones in my presence Verizon is in a class by itself in one area: Reception. In fact I never had a telephone conversation with my cellular telephone where the person I was speaking could tell I was using a cellular.
AT&T is the second most common where I am but it has a lot more dead areas than Verizon.
At least in Southern California Sprint is in a class by itself for poor reception. In fact I can usually tell all most immediately when I am talking to someone on a Sprint phone who is in Southern California. |
