| ustime web page crashes in IE7 Vista-32 bit
When I try to open the .gov time webpage IE7 crashes--with Data Prevention Error. It is due to Java animation. I have the latest Java 1.6-11. Works if I turn off animation. I uninstalled and re-installed java--did not fix.
any body know of fix? |

| Does the following help any?:
IE > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > remove the checkmark in front of "Enable third party browser extensions" > OK then restart IE.
Reopen IE and try to access the problematic web page.
If that does not help re-enable third party browser extensions. |

| Can you check here?:
Start > Control Panel > Classic View > Problem Reports and Solutions > View problem history
Then, can you right-click a couple of the Data Execution Prevention errors and select "View problem details".
What information is given? |

| This from other thread fixed pm..Go to Internet options Advanced
Find :Enable memory protection to help mitigate online attacks make sure that check box is unchecked, Java won't work in IE with that box checked:
you MUST "right-click" IE select "Run as Administrator"once IE launches, go to tools, Internet options, advanced, and scroll down and remove the check mark and then relaunch the browser this check box will be "greyed out" unless you launch IE as an admin...once its turned off, you can go back to using IE normally |
