Traditional PBX installs are going away. The last time I attended a QOS class which many VOIP engineers attend about 80% of the class was filled with traditional PBX guys retooling themselves for VOIP.

I believe it. Even when I was looking into a traditional PBX back in 2003, the guy strongly suggested we connect it using IP phones with some sort of SIP trunking.
