is there a way to have the dashboard always stay visible like in vista with the sidebar? and are there other gadets that i can download like a smaller width gadgets? i want to have the dashboard always visible like i did on a pc and just make the other windows not full size so i can.

1- where can i dl other gadgets that are safe to download? and where can i find widgets that will be small in size so i can line them up like in windows vista sidebar?
