At the moment, No. But if you go to the official Apple website you can view information and pictures of different widgets before you download them.

You have to enter the command in Terminal.
Open Finder > Applications > Utilities > Terminal.

1 edit | is there a way to have the dashboard always stay visible like in vista with the sidebar? and are there other gadets that i can download like a smaller width gadgets? i want to have the dashboard always visible like i did on a pc and just make the other windows not full size so i can.
