Powerful words! and part of what is wrong with Americans today.
First off, it's not about what's on Television.. it's about law. It's about accountability of our government. And, when it comes to government - it's not THEY vs US.. it has to do with the people WE people chose to put IN that body of people who make these laws.
Why should you care? .. becuase it's not about what's ON tv.. its about society in general and how we chose to govern ourselves.

If you don't care.. then really maybe you should shut up and stop bitching since you obviously don't care. If you don't care, and you don't remain involved in the process, then you have NO right to speak up - at all.
Sorry - but it's the truth.
The fact you make it an issue about "garbage on TV" says much about you as a person.
